The participants focus on the line on the screen, whose behaviour is a direct representation of the behaviour of the random number generator. My understanding is that it isn't necessary for the entire process of display/program/generator to be understood in order for the psi effect to emerge. However, you seem to be quite sure that the process must be understood. I'm wondering what makes you think this?
